“Heidi has been teaching privately for more than 25 years. She is originally from Waldo, Wisconsin. She graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in instrumental music education.

After graduating from college, Heidi remained in the Green Bay area and was a band director in the parochial school system. She also taught private music lessons and worked as an instrument repair technician for Henri’s Music. Due to her husband’s job, they moved to Plymouth, Wisconsin where she taught privately at Dream’s Unlimited Music Store and Studio.

Desiring to move north in the state, Heidi and her husband moved to Wausau in 2003 and she has been teaching privately in the area since that time. She is active in her church as a pianist and as a volunteer. Heidi and her husband Noah have two children who they homeschool.

Heidi aims to inspire a love of music in her students, along with learning an instrument and gaining knowledge of music reading and interpretation. She also incorporates music theory and technique in the students studies. A goal she has for her students is that they will develop a life long appreciation of music.”

"Hi. My name is Ben Knoedler. I am excited to be a part of the team here at Encore School Of Music.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I live in Mosinee. I've lived there all my life. I teach piano and voice lessons privately. I also give band instrument lessons. I have taught private music lessons since 1989.

I received my Bachelor of Music degree from UW-Stevens Point, also in 1989. I graduated with a Music Education degree, with an emphasis on 4K through 12 General Music, and Grades 7 through 12 Vocal/Choral Music.

I began playing the piano as a five-year-old, by ear. I started piano lessons in the Second Grade, and have been playing piano ever since.

I currently work in Colby at Saint Mary’s Catholic School. This is my eleventh year teaching there.

I also work at Peace United Church of Christ in Schofield as their Music Minister.

I would be delighted to help your child or children to learn the joys of music making.

I am a latent composer as well. I say latent, because life often gets in the way. But soon, I will be pursuing that musical interest as well.

I have done music transcription in the past, and I am looking forward to starting that work again. That work involves taking music that other people have composed and turning it into printed music.

So glad to be here with Encore!"

Sincerely,

Ben Knoedler
